Meet Caitlin

Caitlin creates art with a purpose. She inspires people to be bold, dream big, and recognize the unique gifts they’ve been given. Her work blends traditional and surrealist influences with meaningful symbolism, creating pieces that invite reflection and conversation.

For this experience, Caitlin will guide you step-by-step as you create your own sunflower, encouraging you to enjoy the process and enter into a place of creativity. Her approach to creating is rooted in peace, purpose, and finding beauty in the process, and she’s excited to share that with you.

Where is this held? 

Fall Leaves: An Autumn Paint Party will be hosted at Trellis & Vine Art Gallery on 27 S Lowry Street in downtown Smyrna, TN. We are across from the Depot and in the same plaza as Viva La Fresa Cafe. 

When is your next class?

We are currently taking registrations for our class on September 25th at 6:30 pm. 

Is this really for beginners?

Yes! If you've ever said, "I'm not artistic" or "I can't even draw a stick figure," this class is for you. Fall Leaves is designed to be approachable, encouraging, and fun for people of all skill levels. Our artist, Caitlin, will guide you step-by-step, and all supplies are provided. The goal is to relax, create, and enjoy the process.

What will we be painting?

Each participant will create a autumn landscape with fall trees reflected on a serene lake on a canvas. You'll leave with a finished piece of artwork ready to display at home.

Can I come by myself?

Absolutely! Many participants attend events on their own. Fall Leaves is designed to be welcoming and relaxed, whether you come alone or with a friend.

Can I bring a friend?

Yes! We'd love for you to bring a friend, family member, or fellow creative. Each participant will need their own registration.

What should I wear?

We recommend comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting a little paint on. Aprons will be provided.

What should I bring?

Just bring yourself! You’re welcome to bring a favorite snack and favorite beverage too, but all art materials needed for the class are included.

How long is the class?

The class lasts approximately 2 - 2.5 hours. Doors open 30 minutes before class, and we encourage you to arrive 10–15 minutes early to get settled before we begin.

What is included in the registration fee?

Your registration includes:

• Guided instruction
• One prepared canvas
• All paint and supplies
• Use of easels and aprons
• Tea and water
• A completed artwork to take home

What ages is the class open to?

The class is designed for adults who need a break from the day to day. Registrations are available for anyone 13 years+. If you bring a younger creative with you, please make sure they are mature enough for this experience. 

Where do I park?

Free parking is available in front of Trellis & Vine Art Gallery and to the sides and behind the building. Feel free to enter through the front Lowry Street entrance or the Trellis & Vine door on Tank Street. 

Is registration required?

Yes. Pre-registration is required so we can prepare each participant’s canvas, supplies, and seating in advance.

When does registration close?

Registration closes Wednesday, September 23rd at midnight.

What if I register and can no longer attend?

Please let us know by 24 hours in advance of the class, if you need to cancel. After that point or if you do not show up for the class, we will work with you to transfer your registration to a future offering.
