Have you ever met an artist or maker local to you and wondered, “Why doesn’t everyone know about this person and what they do?” Yeah, we did too and we decided to try to do something about it.

Hi, we're Ben and Theresa. We started Trellis & Vine with the goal of helping our local artists connect to the wider community and grow. Grow how you ask? A number of ways that really depend on the artist and where they are in their art journey. Our basic services include  variations of three things:

1) Helping artists sell their art. We sell art from local and emerging artists through our gallery or online. Our goal is to get the artist the resources they need to support themselves with their art.

2) Giving artists a place to work. Monthly rented studio space is a great way to make working on art feel more dedicated and productive. It also can help the creative juices flow in just the right ways if necessary.

3) Helping artists come up with more tailored approaches to their art business. Not every artist does sellable discreet art, but every artist deserves to get paid for what they do. We offer consulting and planning services to connect all types of artists to all types of resources that could bring a payday for the work an they do.

"What does that mean for me? A non-artist who likes art?"

The best part of all of this is that you get to participate by being a part of our community. That means you get to directly benefit from most if not all of the artists that we work with. We've got some cool merch designed by and with local artists. We've got pieces of all types, mediums, and styles that would make an excellent accent in your home. We've even got plenty of options to make something individualized and personalized just to you. Or if you just want to make friends with cool artsy people our gallery is the place to do that in Smyrna. Whatever it is you want out of art we can probably help you get it and help you make a connection in your community while you do.
