Theresa AlleyThis October, you have an opportunity to see the works of local artist Jennifer Paul at Smyrna art studio, Trellis & Vine. The gallery will feature works from her collection and will be showcased all month at 27 South Lowry Street in Smyrna. There is an opportunity to meet Jennifer in person on October 7th from 3 pm to 7 pm.
Born and raised in California, Jennifer now makes her home in Murfreesboro TN where she lives with her husband and two children. She is familiar with dark places, and from that darkness she searched for the light. She got saved in college, and everything in her life changed after that. She had previously turned her back on art years earlier, and was finally able to paint again.
When asked about why she paints, Jennifer shares that she “desires to bring hope”. She wants to inspire others to stand strong and to encourage them in their everyday battles. Her works are created with a variety of mixed media, particularly watercolor, gouache, ink and acrylic.
Trellis & Vine is honored to showcase Jennifer’s collection this upcoming month. You are invited to see her works Wednesday through Saturday from 10 am to 6:30 pm at 27 S Lowry Street in Smyrna. You can also purchase some of her works if there’s something that speaks to you.
If you want to meet Jennifer in person and hear more about her works and inspiration, you are invited to join us Saturday October 7th from 3 pm - 7 pm. This event is free to the public and light refreshments and drinks will be available for sale.
