What does Freedom look like to you? For the month of July, Trellis & Vine is partnering with artists from the Art Ministry at the Experience Community Church to put on a collective display of visual artwork focused on Freedom.
On July 19th from 6:30 - 8:30, you have an exclusive chance to meet the creators in person and hear what inspired their works. This free event allows you to interact with the artists and even purchase any pieces that speak to you! We're looking forward to seeing you at Trellis & Vine on 27 S Lowry St in Smyrna TN!
Can't make it on July 19th? Feel free to come by Trellis & Vine any Wednesday - Saturday from 10-6 to see works from local artists Crystal O’Neal, Dina Davenport, Emily Ciecka, LaVonous Byars, Mark Dixon, Penney Shafer and Terry Deason as they explore what Freedom means to them.
"Our mission at the Experience Community Church is to make authentic followers of Jesus and the vision for how we do that is through Authentic Worship, Authentic Community, and Authentic Community Service. Whether it be through graphics, photography, videography, writing, or paintings, we are committed to doing everything with authenticity and excellence. Art has always been an essential part of church culture. God is the original artist, THE Creator, and we are made in His image. He gives the gift of creativity! Christian artists are responsible for sharing the good news through their art and using their creativity to serve God. In Art Ministry, our motto is “Creative minds, creative souls, creating for God.” We were all created to create!
Our hope and prayer is to gather like-minded individuals who love God and people through art and its various forms. The Art Ministry can connect with communities using art, creativity, and the love of Jesus as a form of outreach and authentic community service. We have opportunities for all levels of artistic ability for those who attend and call the Experience Community Church their home.
