As Lia Marie and Company's Chief Goodie Goddess, my desire is to always create something beautiful and/or delicious. So, it's not surprising that I have been creating one thing or another since I can remember. As a young girl, I created doll clothes and all kinds of crafts. By the time I was a teenager, I was drawing, sewing, making crepes, baklava and all kinds of other delicious things. As an adult, cooking began to take center stage. My pastry career started in the pastry kitchen of a well-known hotel brand. During that time, not only did I learn how to make things like croissants, cheesecake, and pâteà choux...I learned about the importance of presentation. I am always thinking about the presentation of my products, from the color and feel of the packaging to the ease of opening that package. I want my customer's experience to be nice from the moment they see something I've created...to the moment they take their first bite or sip.
